The Cape
The Cape offers some splendid scenery with some of the best seasonal whale watching in the world. Historically it was the portal to colonial settlement in southern Africa and has a multitude of historical buildings and places of interest.
No visit to the Cape would be complete without exploring the renowned wine estates and vineyards, some dating back to the 1700’s. The Cape is also famous for the Garden Route and the Knysna Forest, and the incredible floral displays of Namaquland.
For the golfing enthusiast, there are some challenging and beautiful golf courses, which can be incorporated into the tour or a golfing safari.
The FreeState
Home to some scenic wonders like the Golden Gate and QwaQwa National parks, the Maluti mountains and towns like Clarens, Bathuli and Vredefort, near the oldest and largest meteorite impact site in the world.
The Free State was the scene of many battles and skirmishes during the Anglo Boer war.
Diamond and Gold mines are a feature of this province as well as the miles upon miles of maize fields. Bushman rock art can be found in the northern and eastern Free State and hiking trails wind through pristine bush and wild gorges.
KwaZulu Natal
The “Kingdom of the Zulu” from the Indian Ocean to the Drakensberg, open savannah, riverine bush and coastal sand forest.
This area offers plenty of wildfowl, great plains game and big game as well as some of the “Small 5”. This is also Nyala country at its best.
Visits to game reserves like Hluhluwe, Umfolosi and Mkuze, and Boer War and Zulu war battlefield tours are another interesting and exciting facet to this area.
Kwa Zulu Natal also offers some of the finest golf courses in the country, and is a golf safari must.
