General Terms and Conditions
General Conditions:
- Bookings will be secured on payment of 50% of daily rates. Balance due 60 days before commencement of safari.
- All deposits less expenses will be refunded if a Safari is cancelled, provided that the Safari is fully re-booked.
- Travel cancellation insurance is recommended.
- All payments must be made in cash or travellers’ cheques in full on final day of Safari.
- Indemnity forms must be signed before commencement of Safari.
General Exclusions:
- Any gratuities to Safari Staff.
- Airfare to, from and within South Africa, including Safari Staff, if required.
- Any hotel accommodation, including Safari Staff, if required.
- Alcoholic Beverages.
- Car hire if required.
- Tariff changes beyond our control.
- Airport transfers.
The Daily Rate includes:
- The services of a Tour Guide/PH.
- General laundry.
- All motor vehicle travel during the safari.
- All safari accommodation, food, soft drinks, local beers.
- All government VAT tax of 14% in RSA, only if applicable.
- Park, Game Reserve, Golf Club or Entertainment Entrance fees as per itinerary.
NOTE: Daily rate is charged for per night on safari.
Hunting Safari Terms and Conditions
Please note that the following terms and conditions are relevant to hunting or wing shooting safaris, and are in addition to those reflected above under General Terms and Conditions.
The Daily Rate includes:
- The services of a licensed Professional Hunter.
- Services of Trackers, Skinners and Beaters as required.
- Field preparation of trophies.
- All motor vehicle travel during the hunt.
- All Safari accommodation, food, soft drinks, local beers and general laundry.
- All government VAT tax of 14% in RSA, only if applicable.
- Cost of general hunting licences.
- All meals and refreshments.
- Services of an experienced Dog Handler and trained Hunting Dogs if required.
- Daily gun fee (rate payable to the Landowner.)
- Road transport during Safari.
- Park, Golf Club or Entertainment Entrance fees as per itinerary.
- Conservation Levies.
- Tours and Add-ons for observers as arranged.
- All trophy prices include government licence fees where applicable.
Items Not included in rates:
- Disinfecting, packing and shipping of trophies.
- Any gratuities to Safari Staff.
- Airfare to, from and within South Africa, including Safari Staff, if required.
- Any hotel accommodation, including Safari Staff, if required.
- Alcoholic Beverages.
- Hire of firearms and ammunition @ $35/per day excluding ammunition.
- Car hire if required.
- Tariff changes beyond our control.
- Airport transfers.
- Shotgun Ammunition (+/- US$10.00 per box of 25)
- Hunting licences (+/- US$50.00 RSA Bird Hunting)
- Big Game Trophy costs as per individual quote.
- Conservation fee of $10.00 per animal shot.
- Trophy fees as per quote.
- Disinfecting, packing and shipping of trophies. This is done by a taxidermist.16) Depending on shipment size, we will levy a drop off charge for trophies.
